Orra Pump Pro
Four curves, played together.
Four complete drawable modulators in one window. Each layer has its own curve, its own clock, and its own target, which is simply what the curve drives: a filter, the volume, the pan, or one of eight effects. So a filter layer can feed a volume layer that feeds a reverb throw. Or play one layer at a time and crossfade between them.

Two ways to play four layers
The LAYERS row above the screen holds four tabs. Drag them to reorder the chain.
Series
The layers run in the order of the tabs, so a filter layer can feed a volume layer that feeds a reverb throw. Each tab's LED is that layer's on and off switch, so you can mute one without losing it.
One at a time
The four tabs become the Active Layer control, recorded as automation in touch or latch mode. XFADE sets the crossfade between them, up to 2 seconds, and a Reverb or Delay layer's tail rings out after the switch instead of being cut. FOLLOW keeps the edited layer on the playing one; GHOST draws the others faintly behind it.
What's inside
The layers, what the curve can drive, and what it costs you in latency
Layers (four tabs), Each is a complete modulator: its own drawn curve, clock, trigger, target, channel and target settings. Drag a tab sideways to reorder the chain. Every layer parameter automates under its own name, L1 Depth, L2 Target and so on.
Mode (ALL / SEQ), ALL runs the layers in series in tab order. SEQ plays one at a time, with the tabs acting as the Active Layer control.
XFade (0 to 2000 ms), The crossfade between layers in SEQ. A Reverb or Delay layer’s tail rings out after the switch rather than being cut.
Follow (on / off), Keeps the edited layer on the playing one in SEQ, so what you see is what you hear.
Ghost (on / off), Draws the other layers’ curves faintly behind the one being edited.
Copy / Paste / Clear , Move a whole layer between tabs, or blank one.
Gain (−24 to +12 dB), Output level, after all four layers.
Auto (level match), A measured, held makeup gain that brings the pumped signal back to the level of the dry one, taken over whole cycles of the slowest layer and re-measured when a preset or scene loads. It holds one value; it does not ride the pump.
Limit (on / off), A zero-latency safety limiter at −0.1 dBFS, out of circuit while off.
The OUTPUT card is a mix position and is never changed by a scene or a layer preset.
Layers and scenes
Two kinds of preset. A LAYER preset is one layer's sound and loads into the layer you are editing. A SCENE is all four layers, the mode, the order and the crossfade.
105 layer presets
One layer’s sound, loaded into the tab you are editing.
91 scenes
All four layers at once, with the mode, the order and the crossfade.
22 styles
UK Garage, House, Drum And Bass, Techno, Hip Hop, Trance, Dubstep, Amapiano, Afro House and more.
Every shape is drawn as a played phrase, with velocity, envelope and timing that differ from hit to hit, rather than one cell repeated. Your own presets save into Layers and Scenes subfolders, with favourites, search, rename and delete.
Pump and Pump Pro
Pro is a separate plugin, with its own licence, its own presets and its own sessions. Orra Pump stays free.
